We started late this morning so we weren't able to do the Ocean Trail before the cruise ship came in and more people arrived. Once everyone was moving we headed to Cadillac Mountain. Unfortunately, we realized on the way there that we have a nail in the tire causing a small leak of air, so we'll have to take care of that later. Cadillac Mountain is over 1,500 feet in elevation and is the first spot the sun hits in US in the morning. They sell tickets to be able to see the sunrise. As I did research for this trip many people said it as a definite must do, but I don't think we'll be doing that. From Cadillac Mountain you can see for miles. We could see the tide starting to go low and the land to Bar Island was becoming exposed. The lookout area was very nice to walk around; it was a bigger area than I expected. Teddy almost fell asleep on the ride up to Cadillac Mountain so we didn't spend much time there so we could get back and Teddy could take a nap. After we p...
